Patrick Finnerty brings to Global Capital Markets a variety of skills ranging from start up expertise, managing ongoing concerns, corporate cash management, investment banking and finance.

Patrick Finnerty is recognized as one of the foremost experts on marketing services (for both online and off-line companies), digital media, mobile marketing, interactive advertising, marketing technology, software and information services, advertising and promotion industry trends and strategies that maximize shareholder value. He has more than 14 years of experience providing investment banking services for media, information, marketing services and related technologies.

Transactions have ranged from growth financings to selling entrepreneurial and emerging high-growth businesses, working with the major interactive and technology companies, representing the portfolio companies of leading private equity and venture capital firms to strategic acquisitions and divestitures for major public companies.

As one of the thought leaders for these sectors Patrick Finnerty and Global Capital maintain extensive industry M&A databases, providing clients with unparalleled levels of information about transaction multiples, transaction history, and market dynamics.

Prior to joining the Global Capital team, Mr. Finnerty was with NewCap Partners in Los Angeles. At NewCap Partners he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, corporate financings and venture capital.

Before NewCap Partners Mr. Finnerty spent 12 years on Wall Street. He worked at Morgan Stanley, Drexel Burnham and Bear Stearns. At these Wall Street firms his duties included portfolio management, corporate cash management, debt and equity financing and investment banking. He worked with companies in a myriad of ways because of his varied experience and his ability to fulfill his client's needs.

Prior to entering into the financial world Mr. Finnerty built, managed and operated numerous businesses in the New York Metropolitan area. He specialized in the restaurant and construction fields.

Mr. Finnerty is a graduate of Hofstra University and a former member of the U.S. Army Special Forces.
