Biography:
Steve Holmes is a veteran mergers, acquisitions and corporate finance
executive with extensive experience working with public companies.
Prior to joining Global Capital in 1995, Steve was the CFO and board
member of AmeriQuest Technologies, Inc., an NYSE-listed consumer
products distribution company with revenues approximating $600 million.
Steve was instrumental in the company's rapid growth and diversification,
negotiating six acquisitions of companies with revenues ranging
from $30 million to $150 million. In 1995, he facilitated the majority
acquisition of the company by one of Germany's largest industrial
companies.
A
CPA, Steve began his career in finance and management consulting
in 1968 with Arthur Andersen, was admitted to the partnership in
1978 and served as a managing partner and subsequently as a senior
partner until he joined AmeriQuest in 1992. Steve graduated with
honors from the University of Colorado and the University of Rochester. |
