Bill Owen has thirty-eight years of experience working with public and private emerging growth and middle market firms, with significant expertise in equity and debt financing, mergers and acquisitions, business valuations, financial management, and operations.

Bill has held significant leadership and executive management positions with several investment banks.  From its inception, Bill served as Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer of E*OFFERING, which became the online investment bank of E*TRADE. Bill also served as Chief Financial Officer of Cruttenden Partners LLC, a private equity firm, and as Vice President of Corporate Finance of Cruttenden Roth, which, during that time, became one of the largest securities firms in the nation financing micro-cap companies.  While at Cruttenden Roth, Bill conducted private placements with 17 closed transactions, and managed and participated in 10 initial and follow-on public offerings.  He also represented clients in mergers and acquisitions, completing eight transactions.

Bill also previously held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Outdoor Channel Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: OUTD).   He led the firm's acquisition of the minority position of its subsidiary, The Outdoor Channel, Inc., valued in excess of $100 million, and its transition from the Bulletin Board to the Nasdaq Global Market.  Bill also coordinated the public offering of OUTD’s primary and secondary common shares aggregating to over $82 million, closed $15 million of senior secured debt, and led the spin-off of a wholly-owned subsidiary for $3 million.

His professional career began at Price Waterhouse, where he earned his CPA certificate, and The Geneva Companies where he was part of a team responsible for hundreds of lower middle market closed sell-side transactions.  He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Fort Lewis College and maintains FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, 79, and 99 securities registrations as well as a California real estate salesperson's license.
