Global Capital Markets, Inc. (“Global Capital”) is pleased to announce that its client Removaly, LLC (“Removaly” or “Company”) has been acquired by Duck Duck Go, Inc. (“DuckDuckGo”). DuckDuckGo purchased Removaly to use as its foundation in building a Personal Information Removal offering while maintaining industry leading privacy standards.
Removaly was a pioneer in the data removal space, developing a way to navigate data brokers’ confusing opt-out processes automatically and without compromising users’ privacy in the process.
The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
