About Kimberly
Kimberly is a Qualified Risk Director® (DCRO Institute) with over 30 years of global experience as an investment banker, Deloitte Partner, and Independent Board Director for public and private companies. Her expertise spans technology, software, healthcare, infrastructure, and real estate. She is a FINRA-licensed investment banker and Principal at Global Capital Markets, Inc. Kimberly holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Finance from the University of Southern California, graduating as Valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude. She is a Certified Director with the NACD, National Association of Certified Directors.
Kimberly is a dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada.
Kimberly’s global C-suite experience and current board positions for Public and Private Corporations make her a value-enhancing, senior board member. Kimberly is a qualified financial expert and has thirty years of global experience in corporate finance. Known for successfully leading mergers & acquisitions, Kimberly provides integrative strategic planning and financial oversight for private and public middle-market & Fortune 500 corporations with global experience in the areas of technology, software, transportation, healthcare, and real estate industries. Also, she is a Managing Director at Global Capital Markets, where she leads mergers and acquisitions for middle-market and Fortune 500 corporations, leveraging her expertise in audit, capital markets, technology innovation, financial and strategic oversight and Initial Public Offerings ("IPO") advisory.
Kimberly was an Independent Board Director and served on the Audit Committee for Iteris, Inc., a NASDAQ-listed company ("ITI") that provides global smart mobility infrastructure management solutions, based in Austin, Texas. Currently, she serves as an Independent Board Director and Chairperson of the Cyber Security and Risk Governance Committee for Empire Valuation Consultants (ESOP), one of the nation's leading independent valuation firms, based in New York, New York. Also, she serves on the Leadership Council of the Institute for Genomic Biology, University of Illinois, Urbana/Champaign.
She is a mentor and an advisor for various non-profit and for-profit organizations in the fields of genomic biology and biotechnology, SaaS software, technology, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT) and real estate syndications.
