In addition to his current role, he has been a venture partner at Sway Capital since 2017, where he was proud to be acknowledged as the Venture Partner of the Year in 2019. His tenure as the executive vice president of logistics information at Boeing from 2012 to 2015 followed his successful co-founding of Miro Technologies in 2004, where he served in the capacity of president and chief executive officer through 2012. Notably, Miro Technologies advanced rapidly to become a notable industry presence and earned accolades such as Best Logistics Software from Frost & Sullivan in 2009.

 

Mr. Monteparte initiated his career with various executive roles for the aerospace solutions division for Spirent Communications from 1998 to 2004, where his signature ability to analyze complex situations helped him expertly guide clients with whom he forged lasting relationships. He also relies on exceptional academic training, having earned a Bachelor of Science in aeronautical engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1987 and a Master of Business Administration from Graziadio Business School at Pepperdine University in 2001. Additionally, Mr. Monteparte has secured Series 79 and 63 licenses from FINRA, further enhancing his capabilities in financial markets.

 

A commitment to productive networking prompts Mr. Monteparte to maintain involvement in prestigious organizations, and he serves as the board chair of Premier Air Charter Inc. and holds director positions at Measurabl and Slingshot Aerospace. He also actively seeks opportunities for civic engagement and since 2016 has been a board member at Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University's Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, where he provides annual scholarships for students. Additionally, Mr. Monteparte mentors interns at Global Capital Markets, sharing his knowledge and experience to inspire future leaders.

 

Mr. Monteparte's career accomplishments have been recognized through numerous accolades including the Most Distinguished Alumni Award from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School in 2018 and recognition as a finalist for the Most Admired CEO by the San Diego Business Journal in 2010. Looking toward the future, he plans to persist in his professional pursuits and will maintain his leadership positions in board roles across various companies.
