Hector joined Global Capital in 2013 as an M&A Intern. In 2014, Hector was sponsored by the US-Spain Chamber of Commerce to continue his career in the U.S. and at the same time was promoted to Analyst by Global Capital.

 

Today, he is the Director of Research and Head Analyst for the firm. Hector excels at performing market and competitive research as well as technical engineering analysis concerning a wide range of industries including manufacturing, aerospace, technology, and distribution for the purpose of creating marketing strategies. He collaborates with business development personnel to develop and analyze strategies to expand the firm’s client base. Hector supports senior bankers in the execution of a variety of mergers and acquisitions.

 

Hector currently leads the Global Capital Internship Program, managing and overseeing its team of Analysts. Global Capital Markets regularly hosts interns from a wide range of highly regarded graduate and undergraduate programs, and takes pride in their subsequent career success.

 

Hector also supports Global Capital Emerging Markets team, participating in cross-border discussions between companies in the U.S. and parts of Europe and South American all aimed at helping complete international business transactions.

 

Prior to Global Capital, Hector was a Market and Financial Analyst for Simbolo Fashion, an apparel company headquartered in Spain.

 

Hector has helped organized and execute events for the Harvard Business School Association of Orange County, specifically as part of the monthly Harvard Leadership Series (HLS) breakfasts and Inside the Company (ITC) programs, which have included events at leading companies such as Broadcom, Disney, Western Digital, Pacific Life, Experian, Microsemi, and Edwards Lifesciences.

 

Hector is an Industrial Engineer from the Universidad Europea de Madrid (Spain) and has graduated from the Business Administration and International Business, Operations and Management programs from the University of California, Irvine.
