David has over 20 years of corporate investment experience in several facets of the global private equities and mergers and acquisitions markets. Currently, David is active in private equities investments and property asset management with major institution funds in Asia. He travels between China, Hong Kong and Singapore where he manages our Asian offices. He is primarily based in Shanghai, China. David manages the cross-border M&A investment banking activity between Asia and the US, which includes leveraged buy-out (LBO) advisor, and M&A of private and public companies ranging in equity of $50 to $350 million. He organized and completed a $150 million LBO and privatization program of the leading Asian retail food company Delifrance Holdings Ltd. with Prudential Asset Management, Asia. Also David has successfully completed Dalian Container Port which has an asset valuation of over billions in private equity divestment by GIC Singapore with Hong Kong New World Group. Also David has successfully completed the LBO acquisition of Singapore Speedy-Tech Industries with Advent International and DBS Bank. Lately, Speedy-tech has successfully listed on the main board of Singapore Stock Exchanges with market capitalization of over U.S. $200M. The Speedy-tech transaction was voted the Venture Deal of the Year by the Singapore Venture Investments Association.
David has a Bachelor of Arts and Social Sciences from the National University of Singapore. He received his MBA from the University of California, Irvine, USA. He received his MAIS from the University of Washington, Seattle, USA.
